Wineurasia with Solomon and Read take the Double
After a convincing race win in the inaugural Asia Le Mans Sprint Cup yesterday, Matt lined up on the grid in pole position. Leading the pack, Matt focussed on getting away and that's something he convincingly did. After lap 1 he was 3 seconds in the lead and by lap 3 this had extended to 6 seconds. Continuing to stamp his authority over the field, Matt brought home the Ligier LMP3 Nissan V8 17 seconds clear of his nearest rival, James Winslow. Matt handed the car over to Aidan Read who continued to push finishing the race 1 minute 30 seconds ahead of the 2nd place pairing of Winslow and Koutsoumidis. Wineurasia delivered a faultless car to the pair enabling this historic result.
